- Velvet Revolution museum opens in Bratislava
THE 1989 revolution that toppled the communist regime in the former Czechoslovakia and brought freedom and democracy to the two countries that emerged after it split, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, is traditionally commemorated on November 17, when the first protests against the regime started.

The exhibition presents glass pieces of art by Mr. and Mrs. Pál, two
authors being a married couple too. In their work, they use different
approaches: the technology of molten sculptures with deliberately
disturbed shape preciseness in contrast to the constructivism of
3D fractal geometry.

The International Festival of Contemporary Dance has
started its 17th edition! The festival, lasting one month,
