- Bratislava Music Festival 2013
The Slovak Philharmonic invites all the classical music lovers to the
49th Bratislava Music Festival, the top event on the Slovak scene of
the classical music, held from September 27 to October 3, 2013.
- BLAF – Bratislava Art Festival
Bratislava Art Festival 20113 (BLAF 2013)
is a festival of visual arts where the festival
visitors are given a chance to experience,
understand, perceive and discuss arts.

- Convergences 2013
Early autumn will again belong to the chamber music. Taking place
from 15 September to 22 September 2013, the 14th Music Festival
of Convergences will present eight concerts in the Design Factory
and two performances in St. Martin´s Cathedral.

Children´s interventions in works of their parents – artists (and vice-versa).
Until 27th of October at Mirbach Pallais daily (except Mondays) from
11:00 to 18:00.
- Nedbalka: Visual Poems by Endre Nemes
In the beautiful space of the Nedbalka Gallery, you may admire
more than 500 art pieces by Slovak first-rank artists. The focal
point lies in the TOP Slovak painting of the 20th century comprising
a permanent exhibition.
- House of Culture: Biennial of Illustrations Bratislava
Bratislava again hosts the international competition and exhibition of original
illustrations of children´s and youth´s books, the Biennial of Illustration
Bratislava 2013, or BIB 2013.
- SNG: Ľubomír Ďurček, Situation Models of Communication
Situation Models of Communication is a retrospective exhibition
of works by conceptual artist Ľubomír Ďurček (1948). Available
until 13th of October.

- American mezzo-soprano JOYCE DIDONATO
The famous american mezzo-soprano, soloist of the Metropolitan
Opera in New York presents in the tour Drama Queens her aria
recital of Baroque queens and princesses from G. F. Händel,
A. Vivaldi, Ch. Gluck, C. Monteverdi, D. Scarlati, G. Giacomelli,
G. M. Orlandini, A. Cesti, J. A. Hasse a G. Porta.
- This Town Needs Guns
After nearly a year and a half, the British math rock formation
This Town Needs Guns, which currently performs under
a modified name TTNG, returns to Bratislava.

- Klezmer Cruise Ship - Pressburger Klezmer Band
The cycle Music on the Danube this time offers a concert of the formation
Pressburger Klezmer Band, which will perform from 7 p.m. on the cruise
ship Martin. Admission is 7 euros when a ticket is bought in advance and
9 euros at the spot.

festival in the St. Martin’s Cathedral.

Do not miss the last two concerts in the Music Square Festival
at the Main Square [Hlavné Námestie]. Renowned drummer and
percussion Martin Valihora will perform with his trio on Thursday,
August 22, and three days later the orchestra Bratislava Hot
Serenaders will take the stage. Both concerts begin at 8 p.m..

- Uprising Reggae Festival
Ky-Mani Marley, Capleton, The Pharcyde, Israel Vibration,
and Buraka Som Sistema. The lake resort of Zlaté Piesky
[Golden Sands] hosts from 23rd to 24th of August the sixth
annual Uprising Reggae Festival, where you can meet
many more live stars such as Macka B, Mad Professor,
Protoje, Grem and Randy Valentine.
- The Cellmates
Slovak rockabilly band The Cellmates, whose work
is influenced by sounds and artists of the 1950ies,
such as Elvis Presley, Gene Vincent, Eddie Cochran
and Buddy Holly will play on M. R. Štefánik Square
in front of Eurovea Shopping Mall from 7 p.m..
- Band of the Ministry of Interior of the Slovak Republic
You can look forward to a concert by the Band
of the Ministry of Interior of the Slovak Republic
at the Music Square Festival. It starts at the
Main Square at 8 p.m..
- Bazant Cinematograph on Magio Beach: 16. - 21. August
The last five screenings of Bazant Cinematograph are waiting for you on Magio Beach.
The offer includes Moonwalker (August 18), Pina (August 16), My name is Oliver Tate
(August 17), Volver (August 18) and Vera 68 (August 21).
- Bratislava Cantat 10. – 13.10. 2013
The first International Festival of Choirs,
Bratislava Cantat, is held in the historic
