Summer of Culture 2009
The Slovak capital Bratislava is a city that boasts an unusually rich calendar of cultural and artistic events, especially in the summer months. There is a wide array of concerts, exhibitions and gastronomic experiences in the city, which visitors can enjoy from May to the end of September. The good news is that many of the events are completely free! So why not choose something that is just your “cup of tea”. Now is definitely the best and most beautiful time to visit Bratislava.
 

 
 

Shangri-La

An extensive exhibition about Tibet, Nepal, Bhutan and India at the Slovak National Museum

The exhibition Shangri-la is the culmination of the nineteen year pilgrimage of traveller, writer, mountaineer and adventurer Rudolf Švaříček to the Himalayan regions.
