Bibiana
BIBIANA, the International House of Art for Children, was established in 1987 as a partner of the Biennial of Illustrations Bratislava, a long-established international event. Today, the scope of its activities makes BIBIANA the only institution of its kind in the Slovak Republic and one of only a few such bodies in Europe.
It focuses on artistic works for all ages of children, exhibiting art for children in unconventional, experimental forms, and putting information, knowledge and experience into new contexts and communicating with children in new ways that are easily understood by them. It hosts regular interactive exhibitions featuring accompanying events, including dramatic performances, creative workshops and music programmes.
