The Gallery Nedbalka and the Centre for Folk Art Production (ÚĽUV) welcome tourists on Mondays, as well. At the same time, it will mark the 100th anniversary of the beginning of the First World War

At the International Youth Music Festival, you can look forward to performances of ensembles from the Czech Republic, Hong Kong, Poland, Croatia, Latvia and Ukraine. The opening concert on July 27 at 20:00 will be performed at Hlavné Square by Cappella Istropolitana. This concert is part of the Festival Music Square.

Fans of dance music can look forward to the Bee Free festival, which will take place on July 25 – July 27 at the Water Sports Centre in Čunovo. The event will feature more than 150 DJs and DJ groups who will play on five stages. Entry to the festival is free.

In the concert hall of the Slovak Philharmonic you have the opportunity of an unforgettable experience in the performance of the Slovak acapella formation Close Harmony Friends, whose members use their voices as the only musical instrument. Under the leadership of Mário Fančovič they will perform vocal versions of songs from Freddie Mercury, U2 or Carlos Santana on Saturday, July 26.

Adventure Mondays, a tourist programme prepared by the BTB, running from July 21 to September 15, brings the visitors to the capital city a large variety of activities for lovers of history, arts or sports.

Štefánik Airport on 7-9 August. In addition, you will be able to pass a security check, ride an electric car, look at the departures and arrivals area, and see the special government airplane Tupolev TU-154.

You can check out your favourite summer cruises on the Danube also this year. Music cruises for adults and interactive family cruises are organized on the ship Martin. In the evening of July 7, the concert of Lerry & Comeback is prepared for you. A week later, the fun cruise Pirátislava including an interactive performance of the Theatre Dunajka will take place in the afternoon.

The sixth year of the International Youth Music Festival will feature performances of twenty-three ensembles from Estonia, Israel, the Netherlands, Serbia, Russia, the United States, South Africa, the Czech Republic, Hong Kong, Croatia, Latvia, Poland and Ukraine. The opening concert for orchestras on 10 July, starts at 5:00 p.m. at Hlavné Square and will bring the performances of Ma‘ale Adumim Orchestra of Israel, Arcata Ensemble and Scala Ensemble from Holland. The event will run until 13 July.

Come to Hlavné Square to learn about French culture or to taste traditional French cuisine. The French Day event in Bratislava on Monday, July 14, will be part of the celebrations of the French national holiday–Bastille Day Anniversary for the fourth time. Hlavné Square will turn into French countryside on this day. French companies will offer their products on an open-air market. There will also be the tasting of French dishes and delicacies. Additionally, there will also be a cultural program featuring French and Slovak performers such as Anastasia, Thierry and Friends, Denis Dheym with Andante orchestra and the band Stabar.
